Music Theory

We are surrounded by music--it is everywhere, from the elevator to the stadium. This class is designed to explain the basic language of music. The symbols and terms may feel foreign at first, but as the pieces start to fit, your understanding will deepen. Songs you have heard all your life will have more depth.

The focus of this class is for the music professional or anyone who wants to know more about this universal art form. Our instructor is Janet McLaughlin who is the author of the text used in this class, "Exploring Music Fundamentals."

Four one-hour classes on Saturday from noon to 1pm.

Sept. 29th, Oct. 6th, 13th and 20th

Class cost is $100 which includes the $25.00 book.
